So as more and more people begin to donate, and as I lay around bored on my winter break, I finally decided to update everyone on how my fundraising is going. So far I have raised $2395.82! which is so awesome. I am looking to do at least one fundraiser over my break and probably another bake sale when I get back up at school.
This semester is going to be a busy one, since I just recently got the position of Philanthropy chair for my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. Not only do I have to raise the $4,000 for Bike & Build, but I have to plan Kicks for C.A.S.A (Court Appointed Special Advocates), our main philanthropy event for the spring. This organization gives a voice for children who need it in the court system. So if any of my generous donors want to get another tax deduction, this is a wonderful cause.
Ok so back to the Bike & Build, I am getting so excited for the trip. I have recently bought some bike gear, and have been riding around town. I can't wait for the next few days , which are suppose to be sunny and in the 70s to go out near mapleview and ride around in the country of chapel hill. I need to get some bright clothes so my dad doesn't freak out and make me wear those hideous 1970s reflector vests!

HI! I am a Public Relations District Director for Kappa Alpha Theta! Where are you a Theta? I would like to commend you SO strongly for doing such a wonderful thing! What an honor to have you as a sister! Can you send me an email at maggie.theta@gmail.com? I would love to have info on how to donate to your cause. As a PRDD (your new office falls in my focus group! :) I get Theta blog alerts and that is how yours popped up. Good luck with all of your fundraising! When you are done you should totally submit an article to the Theta magazine!
