While I am home for Thanksgiving break, I finally got some time to create my blog. I plan to use this blog to keep everyone updated on my adventures this summer for Bike & Build. I am biking from Nags Head, NC to San Diego, CA in the name of affordable housing. Before my trip I have to raise a minimum of $4,000. So far I have raised $1,925 with donations, a bake sale, and a Chairty Dinner hosted by Aunt Chiladas in Hamden, CT.
I am now trying to come up with a big fundraiser I could hold in the spring. I want to thank everyone so far who have contributed to my cause. Training is going well. I have been going to the gym more and doing a majority of my biking indoors due to the extreme weathers of the north and the lack of a bike in the south.
